PLMJ International Legal Network once again recognised in the area of Energy and Infrastructure in the IFLR 1000 rankings

30/06/2016 , IFLR 1000
PLMJ International Legal Network has once again been recognised in the area of energy and infrastructure by IFLR1000. The directory emphasises the excellence of the services provided by PLMJ International Legal Network in Angola through GLA, in Mozambique through TTA, and in China. In Angola, IFLR divided the Energy and Infrastructure category into two areas, Infrastructure and Oil & Gas. In both areas, PLMJ maintained its Tier 2 ranking. Manuel Santos Vítor, the partner who heads PLMJ Energy and Natural Resources and Pedro Metello de Nápoles, a partner from PLMJ Arbitration and the PLMJ Angola Desk, continue to be recognised as Leading Lawyers. Bruno Xavier de Pina, the partner who heads the PLMJ Angola Desk, and João Bravo da Costa and Renato Valenti, both international senior associates at GLA and the PLMJ Angola Desk, all continue to be recognised as Rising Stars. In Mozambique, where PLMJ is represented by TTA, the firm achieved a Tier 3 ranking, the same as in 2015. Notably, Manuel Santos Vítor continues to be ranked as a Leading Lawyer, along with PLMJ international partner and head of TTA, Tomás Timbane. Like last year, PLMJ is again the only Portuguese law firm to appear in the rankings for China, where it appears among “other recognised firms”. The major operations that PLMJ International Legal Network was involved in last year, which were recognised as being among the most important, contributed to PLMJ’s consistency and to maintaining its leading positions. Importantly, these IFLR 1000 rankings are based on the opinions of in-house counsel at the leading domestic and international financial institutions.
