The PLMJ media and advertising team has considerable experience in media having worked for many years with a wide variety of Portuguese and international clients who are leaders in the sector.
In particular, the team is well-equipped to handle regulatory matters, litigation and negotiation, but particularly to provide support for television projects in general, themed channels, terrestrial digital television, the acquisition of radio stations, newspapers, magazines and other more specialist publications, as well as to provide assistance with regard to the right of reply and in all contacts with the regulatory bodies for this sector.
In the area of litigation, the team has regularly represented clients in both the civil and criminal courts in matters such as abuse of freedom of information and defamation through the media.
