TRAINEE LAWYERS

The arrival of young lawyers is one of the most important moments of the year at PLMJ. In fact, most of our lawyers, including the partners, did their traineeship at the firm so we like to believe that we are looking at future PLMJ partners when we choose our trainees.

Every year, we take in a varying number of recent law graduates, with the selection process taking place from January to May (preferably you should send your CV before the end of March) and the trainee lawyers beginning in September. During the traineeship, the new lawyers are assigned to different practice areas on a rotational basis, thus enabling them to gain a broader view of the practice and in so doing discover their own professional calling.

SUMMER TRAINEES

If you are in the fourth year of your course (end of the 1st Bologna cycle) and would like to have your first encounter with professional life at a law firm, you should apply for our Summer Training Course. Taking part in a Summer Training Course means that you have an opportunity to experience the professionalism and demanding level of an organisation like PLMJ as well as to discover the human aspect which is closely associated with the work of a lawyer.

The Selection and Recruitment process for the Summer Training Course is held between April and June of each year and ideally you should send your application at this time. The Summer Training Course is held in July, August or September and lasts for approximately four weeks.

LAWYERS

While our firm’s growth stems mainly from recruiting trainee lawyers, at PLMJ we are always open and willing to take on experienced lawyers with an acknowledged work capacity and the ability to work within a team, as well as renowned specialists in their respective practice areas.
