In the latest (English version) of its Newsletter, for the second quarter of 2012, the World Law Group (WLG) highlights PLMJ’s role in advising Misericórdias (Portuguese charitable organisations) in their case against online betting companies. The WLG is one of the most prestigious international groups that brings together the largest law firms in several countries around the world.  PLMJ is the only Portuguese member of this network. The Portuguese court declared the contract between Bwin and the Portuguese Football League void. PLMJ advised Santa Casa and the casinos in the case involving advertising in football.
