PLMJ strengthens its private equity with the arrival of lawyer Tiago dos Santos Matias

Tiago dos Santos Matias is the newest member of PLMJ’s private equity team. With a law degree from Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Tiago joins PLMJ from Banif, where he was an assistant director in the legal department.

At the beginning of this year, PLMJ created an independent team of private equity specialists working exclusively in this area and led by partner Duarte Schmidt Lino. PLMJ’s policy of specialisation and a growing volume of private equity business were behind the decision to create an independent team.
