PLMJ tax partner Serena Cabrita Neto speaks to Negócios about measures in the 2016 State Budget

Serena Cabrita Neto, a partner from PLMJ's tax practice, has spoken to the newspaper Jornal de Negócios about the 2016 State Budget bill. Among other topics, she addressed the reduction in the amount of time taxpayers have to ask the Tax Authority to review their tax self-assessments. "The repeal of this rule is a serious blow to taxpayers' rights (...) who are clearly at a disadvantage in relation to the Tax Authority", she explains.
