PLMJ and the British-Portuguese Chamber of Commerce explain the consequences of Brexit in Lisbon and Oporto

Brexit: What happens now?” is the name of the informative session that will be held in Lisbon and Oporto on 13 and 14 July, respectively. This event has been organised by PLMJ in partnership with the British-Portuguese Chamber Of Commerce and its aim is to set out and explain the main consequences of Brexit for British citizens living in Portugal. It will address issues relating to nationality, European law, taxes and contract of employment.

In Lisbon, the “Brexit: What happens now?” will take place in the PLMJ Auditorium on 13 July, beginning at 9 AM. The speakers will be Nuno Cunha Barnabé, the partner who heads PLMJ Tax, Nuno Morgado, a partner from PLMJ Employment and labour, and Sara Estima Martins, a partner from PLMJ EU and Competition.

In Oporto, the session will take place on 14 July at the Oporto Cricket and Lawn Tennis Club. The speakers will be Manuel Cavaleiro Brandão, a partner from PLMJ Employment and Labour, Miguel C. Reis, a partner from PLMJ tax, and Sara Estima Martins, a partner from PLMJ EU and Competition.

On 23 June, 51.9% of British voters decided to leave the European Union.
