PLMJ creates Brexit Team – a multidisciplinary team to respond to all questions about Brexit

Following the result of the referendum in the United Kingdom, which approved the country’s exit from the European Union, the law firm PLMJ has created a “Brexit Team”. This team is made up of lawyers from PLMJ’s offices in London, Lisbon, Oporto and Faro, and it is a multidisciplinary task force with members from the EU, tax, employment and labour, corporate and litigation practices, and from the UK Desk. The aim of the team is to respond to any questions that might arise in the context of Brexit, raised by British citizens living in Portugal and British companies operating here Portugal, or by Portuguese companies that have businesses or subsidiaries in the UK. At the head of the team is Sara Estima Martins, a partner from PLMJ’s European Union law practice.
