PLMJ senior associate Pedro Barosa attends United Nations postgraduate course in Investigative and Legal Psychology

Pedro Barosa, a senior associate from PLMJ Crime, is attending a postgraduate course in International Expert Programme in Investigative and Legal Psychology at the UNICRI (United Nations Interregional Crime and Justice Research Institute), an institute that is part of the United Nations. The last stage of the course takes place in Turin, Italy, and will end in May. Pedro Barosa is the only Portuguese lawyer to have done this training.

UNICRI is a United Nations entity established in 1965 to the international community in preventing crime and in facilitating criminal justice. At present, the priorities of UNICRI’s programmes are cyber-crimes, urban security, domestic violence, counter-terrorism, protection of vulnerable population and victims, and juvenile justice.
