23/06/2017

Lin Man, a senior associate from the PLMJ China Desk who specialises in international projects, is taking part in the Portugal-China Forum on 28 June 2017 at 10.30 a.m. in the Senate Room at the Assembly of the Republic (Assembleia da República).

The event is organised by the Parliamentary Portugal-China Friendship Group, together with the Embassy of the People’s Republic of China. The Forum will be attended by Portuguese and Chinese companies and will involve debate and exchange of information and experiences between the two countries.

The Forum will bring together members of the Parliamentary Portugal-China Friendship Group with a delegation of representatives from the Guangdong Provincial Assembly (Canton). They will be joined by business people, associations, and Portuguese and Chinese chambers of commerce. Together they will seek to strengthen bilateral relations through commercial cooperation projects.

The aim of all this is to develop business opportunities in China, to analyse demand in the Chinese market and assess investment possibilities in Portugal. The representatives of the Chinese business community taking part in this Forum have both the will and the capacity to invest and cooperate with their opposite numbers in Portugal. They are particularly interested in green projects, sustainable technologies, organic agriculture, ecological products, intelligent manufacturing technologies, premium design companies, the travel industry, high quality real estate, and culture and education.

This event is intended to be yet another step in deepening and developing Portugal-China relations and PLMJ is honoured that Lin Man has been invited to attend this event, which is of great significance to the PLMJ China Desk.
