Rothschild Prize distinguishes Artists represented in PLMJ Foundation

The recently settled Rothschild Prize that aims to reward young portuguese artists has attributed this years' first prize to Manuel Caeiro, represented in PLMJ Foundation.

The third and fourth prizes have been given to Carla Cabanas (with a photo owned by PLMJ Foundation) and Pedro Barateiro, also artists represented in the Collection of PLMJ Foundation.

Among the other distinguished artists are also Cecília Costa, Gonçalo Lobo, João Marçal, Marco Pires e Patrícia de Sousa (all exhibited in the Options & Futures 2005 exhibition), Hugo Barata (exhibited in Brussels), Maria Lusitano e Rita Cortês Pinto (Video Collection), Rita Magalhães (exhibited in the Extension of the Eye) besides José Lourenço, Maria Condado , Hugo Canoilas and Isabel Faria also represented in the Foundation Collection.
