PLMJ lawyers feature among Iberian Lawyer’s 50 Rising Stars

05/05/2020 , Iberian Lawyer

The Top 50 Iberian Lawyer Rising Stars was published today and PLMJ has come out on top with the largest number of lawyers on the list – a total of three.

Of the 50 young lawyers recognised, only 15 are Portuguese and PLMJ’s promising young business lawyers are Carla F. Machado (Public Law), Mariana Paiva (Employment and Labour) and Tomás Almeida Ribeiro (Corporate M&A and Private Equity).

This international recognition is a reflection of PLMJ’s constant focus on its talent and on the quality of the solutions our lawyers find every day for all our clients.

The Top 50 Iberian Lawyer Rising Stars lists the most promising lawyers under the age of 35 working in Spain and Portugal at law firms with more than 50 lawyers. The criteria used to create the top 50 list are the lawyers’ experience in their area of practice, the work they do, their reputation with their peers, their academic background, and their profile in the international directories, among others.
