Lawyers from PLMJ’s Oporto office are guest speakers at a workshop on restructuring and insolvency organised by AICCOPN

Lawyers from PLMJ’s Oporto office will speak at the workshop: "Bankruptcy, Business Restructuring and Revitalisation Programme" on 19 July at AICCOPN – the Association of Manufacturers of Construction and Public Works, in Oporto. PLMJ partner Tomás Pessanha, PLMJ senior associates Maria Conceição Cabaços and Diogo Duarte Campos and PLMJ associate Diana Miranda will all take part in the event which is co-organised by PLMJ. The PLMJ lawyers are experts in these matters and they will take the opportunity to present the relevant legislative changes which are currently underway. The intention of the workshop is to provide a forum to discuss issues related to recent legislative developments in the field of insolvency and corporate recovery. It will also provide an opportunity to look at the new process of revitalisation and SIREVE – the extrajudicial corporate recovery system, which are both part of the new legal framework for the revitalisation of companies – the Revitalisation Programme.
