PLMJ National Partners Cycle of Conferences debates “Business Inheritance”

PLMJ presents yet another event in its PLMJ National Partners Cycle of Conferences, this time organised jointly with its newest partner, Mendes Londral & Associados, a leading law firm in the Autonomous Region of Madeira, and with the Madeira Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Lawyers from PLMJ and its partner firms in Coimbra and Madeira will analyse and debate the topic of “Business Inheritance”, at the event that will take place on 14 November at the Madeira Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Funchal.

The programme also features a contribution by David Caldeira, director of the Porto Bay Group, who will talk about his first-hand experience in a company with family roots. The programme also includes presentations on the shareholder/manager relationship, business organisation models and the manager’s tax liability. The opening session will be given by Cristina Pedra, president of the ACIF - Madeira Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
