The Lawyer Awards: PLMJ shortlisted in three categories and Luís Pais Antunes is a candidate for European Managing Partner of the Year

PLMJ has been shortlisted in three categories in the prestigious The Lawyer European Awards. It is the only Portuguese and Iberian firm nominated in the category of European Finance Deal of the Year and the firm has also been shortlisted in the category of Law Firm of the Year: Iberia. PLMJ maintains its position as the only Portuguese law firm to have received this award twice.

For the second consecutive year, Luis Pais Antunes, is a candidate for the European Managing Partner of the Year award - which Luis Sáragga Leal won in 2011. Once again, these nominations place PLMJ at the top of independent Portuguese and international law firms and affirm the excellence of the advice and legal services it provides.

The Lawyer European Awards ceremony is an annual event where a panel of judges made up of general counsel from a range of multinationals chooses the best law firms in Europe. The event, organised by the prestigious British publication The Lawyer, is considered one of the most important legal awards ceremonies in Europe. It seeks to celebrate excellence and professionalism in the practice of business law. 

This year, the awards ceremony is taking place on 19 March in London.
