Diogo Perestrelo on the cover of Advocatus

After 6 years at PLMJ, Diogo Perestrelo makes a "very positive" assessment of his career since he joined PLMJ as co-head of the Corporate and M&A practice.

In the interview, Diogo talks about his career but also about the state of the art in the legal practice. Having already worked on some of the most important M&A operations for the country, he highlights the most important characteristics a lawyer should have. He also talks about what clients expect and what the new client profile is, as well as issues such as the importance of looking at themes such as the mental health of professionals in this sector.

As to what PLMJ will be in the coming years Diogo Perestrelo underlines that "we're only nostalgic for the future and the best way to honour the past is to continue to be innovative and to maintain that permanent non-conformism in relation to what we want to be".
