PLMJ contributes to the Capital Verde Yearbook 2022

PLMJ has contributed to the Capital Verde Yearbook 2022, the ECO newspaper's first magazine dedicated to the climate crisis, sustainability and business.

In this special edition, PLMJ contributed an article on Responsible Business, which provides information on the firm's performance in relation to companies and investors in all matters relating to the environment and to governance.

Listed under the opinion articles is also a piece by João Marques Mendes, a partner in the firm's Public Law practice, on Energy Transition. This article was written before the outbreak of the Ukraine-Russia conflict.

PLMJ also contributed to an article on the United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) which took place in Glasgow at the end of last year.

In the field of ESG and impact investment in Portugal, Bruno Ferreira, managing partner and a partner in PLMJ's banking and finance and capital markets practice area, and Sara Asseiceiro, an associate in the same area, wrtie about the adoption and/or non-existence of legislation in these areas.
