PLMJ partner talks to the Associated Press about the new WFH law

José Pedro Anacoreta, a partner in PLMJ's Employment and Labour practicea, has contributed to an article on the new remote working (WFH) law for the Associated Press news agency.

In the article, the PLMJ specialist says that "the law is badly written and does not meet anyone's needs", as the technology that makes it possible to work from home has also opened the door to abuses such as exhausting working days when staff remain accessible outside their normal eight-hour shift. The consequences can include friction between work and private life and a sense of isolation.
