About Pedro

Pedro is a managing associate in the Employment and Labour practice and has 10 years’ experience as a lawyer. He advises clients on employment and labour, social security and pensions issues.

Pedro has led legal teams responsible for designing, drafting, negotiating and renegotiating the contractual packages associated with various PPPs in the road sector. He also provides regular advice to clients in this sector and in the transport sector in Portugal. Pedro also has experience in advising of promoters and financing entities in various areas of employment and labour law.

He has a master’s in law and management from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa and completed a postgraduate course in employment and social security law at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

Pedro is a member of the APDD (Portuguese Sports Law Association) and of the ANJAP (National Association of Young Portuguese Lawyers), whose national board he sits on.

Before joining PLMJ, he was a lawyer at Garrigues and an intern and paralegal during the last year of his degree course at ABBC (today, DLA Piper ABBC).
