PLMJ launches the 5th Volume of the PLMJ Legal Collection - "The Insolvency and Corporate Recovery Code Annotated", presented at a business breakfast at the Lisbon Commercial Association

PLMJ launches "The Insolvency and Corporate Recovery Code Annotated" published by Coimbra Editora as part of the PLMJ Legal Collection. The launch takes place on Monday 10 December at a business breakfast at the ACL–CCIP (Lisbon Commercial Association - Portuguese Chamber of Commerce and Industry) in Lisbon. The various scenarios for insolvency and recovery provided for in the new law will be analysed and discussed. Nuno Libano Monteiro, a partner from PLMJ’s restructuring and insolvency team will present a number of arguments on what is the least traumatic solution and PLMJ partner Paulo Farinha Alves, who is from the same team, will address SIREVE and the position of the ministry of the Economy in corporate restructuring.  Pedro Madeira Rodrigues (Secretary General of the ACL) will open the meeting and João Lourenço (Secretary General of the) will present the Code and its effects on the banking world. All this will be followed by a debate and question and answer session.
