24/01/2018

In the 18th edition of the GCR 100, PLMJ's competition law team has once again been named among the 100 best in the world in this area of specialisation. In GCR’s own words, "The 2018 edition of the GCR 100 is a comprehensive listing of top competition practices, providing a quantitative and qualitative analysis of the law firms and economic consultancies doing the most important antitrust work around the world". The PLMJ team was also recognised in the 'Elite' category in Portugal, the highest possible classification on a national level.

GCR is recognised as the leading specialist competition law publication and its ranking are based on the opinions of peers and clients in the sector. PLMJ was recognised for the work it did in 2017 for clients including the Portuguese National Association of Pharmacies, Visa, Nestlé, Tabaqueira, Oxy Capital, CTT (the Portuguese post office) all and Ford.

Ricardo Oliveira, the partner who heads PLMJ EU Law and Competition, welcomed his practice’s reappearance in this ranking, which he says represents "renewed recognition of the team's position of leadership in the market and a great motivation for us to do even better work in the future".
