Sara Estima Martins and Pedro Menezes Cardoso speak to Eco about launching start-ups in Portugal

Sara Estima Martins, a partner from PLMJ EU Law and Competition, and Pedro Menezes Cardoso, an associate from PLMJ Corporate / M&A, have spoken to  Eco about launching start-ups in Portugal. In particular, they address the bureaucratic obstacles that be faced by potential investors.

The PLMJ lawyers recognise that "in recent years, great effort has been made to reduce bureaucracy in some departments", but they believe there are still "some considerable obstacles in the way of individuals or companies that want to develop an investment project" in Portugal.
