PLMJ is proud of the appointment of Rui Chancerelle de Machete as Minister of State and Foreign Affairs in the 19th Constitutional Government of Portugal, news that was received with enormous satisfaction and pride. A well-known and respected national figure, Rui Chancerelle de Machete has been a consultant at PLMJ since 2002, working in the public law team coordinated by partner Pedro Melo. This practice also includes partner Tiago Duarte and Frederico Perry Vidal, among a total of 12 lawyers. Since then, and over more than a decade, he has played an important role in consolidating the public law practice at PLMJ and he has also made a major contribution to the growth of the firm. His appointment is a reason for great pride and PLMJ wishes every success to Rui Chancerelle de Machete in his new, important role.
