About Manuel

Manuel is a managing associate in the Corporate M&A and Insolvency & Restructuring practices.
 
He has several years' experience focusing on structuring and negotiating M&A transactions, as well as advising on in-court and out-of-court corporate and financial restructurings. He also has experience in dealing with bank resolution cases and the winding-up of credit institutions. Manuel's clients include fund management companies and collective investment undertakings as well as companies and corporate groups.
 
He holds a master's degree in business law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and completed the 16th postgraduate course in Securities Law at the Securities Institute.
 
Manuel has also completed an advanced postgraduate course in M&A and corporate litigation at the Centre for Private Law Research of the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon. He is currently attending a postgraduate course in corporate finance, restructuring and litigation at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP), Lisbon School. 
 
He is a member of the Governance Lab.
