About Tiago

Tiago is an associate in the Banking and Finance and Capital Markets practices. He advises clients on financing transactions, including acquisition finance, real estate finance, structured finance, project and infrastructure finance, and public and private debt offerings.

He also has experience in M&A transactions in the banking and finance sector, as well as regulatory matters in the banking, investment services, asset management and financial technology (fintech) sectors, including licensing and qualified shareholding procedures.

Tiago has a master's degree in law and management from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa. He also has postgraduate qualifications in corporate finance and company law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon, and attended a postgraduate course in banking law at the same faculty.

Prior to joining PLMJ, he worked as a lawyer in the banking, finance and capital markets department of Cuatrecasas, Gonçalves Pereira and was also seconded to Santander Consumer Finance, where he supported the digital transformation process of the products marketed by this institution.
