Tomás is a partner at TTA - Sociedade de Advogados has been a PLMJ international partner since 2011. He focuses on public law, energy, natural resources, arbitration and litigation.
Tomás was president of the Mozambican Bar Association between May 2013 and May 2016. He took part in numerous commissions to review legislation and he is the author of books and dozens of articles published in specialist reviews.
Tomás has been a member of the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce since 2017 and the Africa Commission of the International Court of Arbitration since 2018. He is also registered as an arbitrator at the Maputo Centre for Arbitration, Conciliation and Mediation of Disputes, and he is an Official Industrial Property Agent.
Tomás has a law degree, a master’s and a doctorate from Universidade Eduardo Mondlane.
