Managing associate in the Public law practice.
Manuel is a managing associate in the Public law practice and a member of the French Desk. With over 20 years’ experience in the legal sector, he has extensive experience in administrative law and administrative litigation, urban planning and environment law.
Manuel has provided advice to project developers and finance providers, and to clients in the road and transport sectors and several industries in Portugal. He also advises public bodies.
Besides a master's in comparative public law of the European states (D.E.A) from the Sorbonne in Paris, Manuel also has a master's in legal-political sciences from Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon.
He is an adviser to the Portuguese-French Chamber of Commerce and Industry, secretary general of the Portuguese Environmental Law Association and an associate of Ad Urbem, an association for the development of planning and construction.
Manuel has also been invited to teach on postgraduate courses and is an arbitrator at CAAD - Administrative Arbitration Centre.
