Fernando is managing associate in the Real Estate and Tourism practice. With over 12 years’ experience, he has focused on advising private and institutional clients from Portugal and abroad on structuring and implementing real estate investment projects.

He has advised on the development of a wide variety of real estate projects, among others, working on real estate transactions involving wine and agricultural production units, wind farms and offices parks.

Fernando has also dealt with sale and lease back operations, urban rehabilitation projects and divestment projects, including the disposal of non-performing loan portfolios and the transfer of significant sets of real estate assets. He has also handled the management, negotiation and sale of real estate portfolios of banking institutions.

Fernando completed a postgraduate course in real estate law at the Faculty of Law of Universidade Católica Portuguesa and was legal director at The Edge Group.
