Hugo is the partner who heads Banking and Finance practice and he is also responsible for PLMJ’s representative office in London.
With over 20 years’ experience in advising Portuguese and foreign institutions, he is recognised as one of the most active lawyers in the financial sector, having worked on some of the most important operations carried out in Portugal.
Before joining PLMJ, he was legal director at Deutsche Bank in Portugal.
Hugo graduated in law from the Faculty of Law of the University of Lisbon and has completed postgraduate courses in banking, securities and insurance law, and in international financial operations.
