Mozambique – Potential of the Mozambican Market

Miguel Spínola, a PLMJ associate working in the joint venture with Mozambique is the author of an article on Mozambique’s potential for foreign investment which was published in the newspaper Diário Económico.

In this article, which is very relevant, corresponding as it does with the Portuguese Prime Minister’s trip to Mozambique, Miguel gives his opinions on the various investment projects taking place now in Mozambique.

Mozambique has recently adopted a series of macroeconomic reforms which, together with financing for political stability in the country, have brought a significant increase in the rates of economic growth over the last few years. What stands out clearly is the importance of this country in the strategy of internationalisation being pursued by Portuguese companies which are undoubtedly in a privileged position because of historic ties and the common language and culture.
