PLMJ and Iberian Lawyer organise debate on employment law and compliance

PLMJ’s employment and labour law practice has organised a ‘Master Class’ in partnership with the Iberian Lawyer Global Compliance Club that will bring together in-house lawyers from some of the biggest companies operating in Portugal. The debate will address compliance challenges and best practice and their impact on business. Under the title “Introspective compliance: the art of looking at oneself”, the debate will be moderated by Tiago Cortes, a partner from PLMJ’s employment and labour law practice. The round table will debate topics related to the mechanisms that can be used to make employees aware of protocols and how to keep then up to date with changes. It will also look at the development of the culture of compliance and transparency, and the application of the code of conduct in multinational companies.
