PLMJ welcomes new senior associate Teresa Madeira Afonso to its private equity team
20/07/2015Senior associate Teresa Madeira Afonso is the most recent lawyer to join PLMJ's private equity practice. She joined PLMJ from Uría Menéndez – Proença de Carvalho, where she had worked since 2005 in the firm's corporate and real estate practices.
Teresa Madeira Afonso earned an LL.M. From the University of Virginia School of Law, in the United States, after completing her law degree at Universidade Nova de Lisboa.
The new senior associate strengthens the private equity team, which is a multidisciplinary team that brings together specialists in finance, commercial, corporate and tax law under the leadership of partner, Duarte Schmidt Lino.
