This week sees PLMJ hosting two major conferences on the 2013 State Budget in Lisbon and Oporto. Over the past few weeks, those who have registered to attend the conferences were given the opportunity to select the topic they would most like to see discussed at the end of the two conferences. The topic: Tools for good tax management in times of crisis, was the subject most voted for and will be presented at the end of the debate which takes place tomorrow at the Hotel Altis in Lisbon and on Friday in Oporto, at the offices of AICCOPN – the Association of Civil Construction and Public Works Industries.
The two conferences will be hosted by partners from PLMJ’s tax practice, João Magalhães Ramalho, Serena Cabrita Neto and Nuno da Cunha Barnabé, who will carefully analyse the main changes and innovations set out in the budget as presented by the Portuguese government. PLMJ partners José Miguel Júdice and Tiago Duarte will also speak at the Lisbon conference and partner Nuno Morais Sarmento and senior associate Diogo Duarte Campos will speak at the session in Oporto.
