PLMJ Managing Partner named one of Europe's most innovative leaders by the FT

24/09/2020 , Financial Times Innovative Lawyers

Bruno Ferreira, PLMJ's managing partner, is the only Portuguese lawyer among the six most innovative leaders in Europe recognised by the Financial Times Innovative Lawyers. This is one of the most prestigious awards for the legal sector and, every year, it highlights the most innovative and pioneering achievements. PLMJ has been recognised by the Financial Times every year since the beginning of FT Innovative Lawyers Europe.

The distinction now awarded to managing partner Bruno Ferreira is fair recognition for the results of an enormous and innovative transformation that PLMJ has undergone over the last two years. At issue are significant changes centred on three pillars: investment in our talent, technological innovation and the integration of sustainability at the heart of the firm's strategy. In addition to these points of focus, PLMJ has made an important generational change. Bruno Ferreira is the youngest leader at the head of a firm of PLMJ's size and the board already includes several members of the firm's younger generation.

The FT innovative Lawyers Awards announcement event is broadcast online on 1 October and Bruno Ferreira will participate in a panel discussion alongside the other law firm leaders who were considered the most innovative by the FT. FT Innovative Lawyers represents a unique analysis of the sector, assessing the innovative power of lawyers towards their clients but also in the management of their own activities.
