PLMJ Real Estate team wins at The Lawyer Awards

PLMJ's Real Estate team won the European Real Estate Team of the Year 2020 award at The Lawyer European Awards – by the prestigious British magazine, The Lawyer. The London-based publication organises The Lawyer European Awards annually to recognise the work of leading European business law firms. Partners Francisco Lino Dias and Rita Alarcão Júdice, the co-heads of PLMJ’s real estate team, said “We were very pleased to receive this award, which recognises the quality of PLMJ's real estate team”. The Lawyer’s award highlights the advice given by PLMJ to Minor International in the largest transaction ever in the hotel sector in Portugal: the sale of three Tivoli group hotels, in a “sale and leaseback” deal. The matter was handled by a multidisciplinary PLMJ team, led by partner Francisco Lino Dias and including lawyers from PLMJ’s Corporate M&A and Employment and Labour teams. The two partners who head the Real Estate practice added that this award “is a clear sign of the market recognition and satisfaction of our clients, who continue to trust us with operations as important as the one highlighted here”.

Over recent years, PLMJ has already been received awards in several different categories.
