Abel Mesquita in the last edition of the portuguese publication “Who is Who in Law Firms”

Abel Mesquita, PLMJ Equity Partner heading the Firm’s labour law practice was invited to participate in the “debate” on the new Labour Code in 2009, statements which were published in the last edition of the yearly directory ” Who’s Who in Law Firms edited by the DE and distributed with this newspaper’s edition of the past 10th of December.

According to this Lawyer the new Code shall not bring any change of substance for 2009 although is it is worthy of reflexion of the side effects the new regulamentation may bring to the sector in terms of a bigger influence of the public tutela on labour law.
