DSL Lawyers, a member of PLMJ International Legal Network, celebrated its 8th anniversary on 19 September, and five of those eight years have been spent working in a successful partnership with PLMJ. In Chinese culture, the number eight represents the feeling of inclusion. The Chinese consider the number eight as a series of initiations and spiritual ascension, because eight represents strength.

PLMJ founding partner, Luís Sáragga Leal, says that “DSL is central to PLMJ's long-standing policy of internationalisation." Carlos Duque Simões, a partner at DSL Lawyers, explains that: “Over recent years, we have been able to count on PLMJ's support on every occasion, whether in researching and seeking out new markets and clients, or in offering and seeking creative solutions to the challenges of providing legal services.” Rita Assis Ferreira, a senior associate at the PLMJ Macao Desk says she has: “no doubts that DSL will continue to grow and be successful, and that our partnership will be an important part of the success."
