Manuel Cavaleiro Brandão, a PLMJ partner specialising in arbitration and employment law, and Miguel C. Reis, a partner in the firm's tax practice, will both speak at the seminar Le Nouveau marché dês séniors français au Portugal (The New Market for French Seniors in Portugal). The seminar has been organised by the Portuguese-French Chamber Of Commerce and Industry and will take place at the Hotel Intercontinental Porto Palácio das Cardosas on 21 October from 9 o'clock in the morning.
Manuel Cavaleiro Brandão and Miguel C. Reis will address “The tax context of non-habitual resident status” and take part in a roundtable to and said legal and tax questions.
The main aims of the seminar to: create an inventory of local supply for the senior population, above all, foreigners, and to highlight the opportunities offered by the market and potential partnerships between Portuguese and French companies. The seminar also aims to make life easier for French companies interested in this new market.
