Manuel Lopes Rocha, the partner who heads PLMJ's intellectual property practice, is one of the authors of the book ‘Invenções e Patentes’ (Inventions and Patents) published by the IAPMEI. Together with João Marcelino, he has written a ‘Practical Guide for the Technology Producer’, in which the authors systematically describe the whole process necessary to safeguard and defend Business innovation. They address issues that are crucial to technology producers including protecting the idea, patenting the invention, licensing and commercialisation.
