Miguel Spínola and Josina Correia (GLM) are to take part in a course dedicated to the oil and gas sector

PLMJ senior associate an and coordinator of the firm’s Mozambique Desk, Miguel Spínola and Josina Correia, a senior associate at GLM - Gabinete Legal Moçambique, a member of PLMJ International Legal Network, are to take part in a course organized by the Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation, dedicated to the oil and gas sector.
The two lawyers will attend the first part of the course, which is on “International Oil & Gas Law, Contracts, and Negotiations” and will take place in Houston, Texas, between 23 and 27 September. The programme will focus on topics such as: an overview of the industry, risks in international investments, compliance, and anticorruption and ethics as well as issues related to international due diligence, confidentiality agreements, bidding for contracts and contracts for sale of crude oil, among others.
