PLMJ and the legal publication Iberian Lawyer have organised a Data Protection Masterclass. The event will take place on 23 November between 9h30 and 11h in Lisbon. Daniel Reis, the partner who heads PLMJ TMT, is one of the speakers at the Masterclass, which will also feature specialists in data protection, IT and compliance invited by Iberian Lawyer. The Masterclass will focus on the changes introduced with the reform of data protection law.
This year, PLMJ launched “Personal Data Step-by-Step – How to prepare your company for the new General Data Protection Regulation”. This is an innovative and specialised service to help companies prepared to adopt the new General Data Protection Regulation that was published on 4 May of this year by the European Union. The aim of the service is to provide companies with the tools and know-how they need to understand and apply the rules. In turn, they will be able to develop a business culture of compliance in the field of personal data protection.
