PLMJ featured in Legal Business special issue on Portugal

The international magazine Legal Business has published a special issue on Portugal covering the end of the country's European bailout and its privatisation programme. Legal Business looks at PLMJ's involvement in the main privatisations that have occurred in Portugal. The special issue also focuses on the firm's internationalisation, in particular, its Swiss Desk coordinated Nuno da Cunha Barnabé and the creation of a private equity team headed by Duarte Schmidt Lino.

The magazine spoke to PLMJ managing partner, Manuel Santos Vítor, who explained that the creation of a Swiss Desk resulted from a growing volume of work in this country that began in the middle of the last decade. He also talked about how PLMJ's internationalisation policy means the firm is always on the lookout for new opportunities.
