PLMJ in the “Public Private Partnerships Law Review”

Pedro Melo, PLMJ Partner with the Firm’s Public Law Area of Practice and the Portuguese correspondent for this reputed British publication and Manuel da Silva Gomes, Senior Associate with the same Practice, are the authors of the article included in the first number for 2009 of the “EPPLR“ on “Environmental Risk in Public Private Partnerships”.

The article points out the key importance Portuguese law , just as other jurisdictions, dedicates to the care and legal protection of environmental goods “in risk of destruction and degradation either serious or irreversible” and also for the rebalances which may  derive from the “environment impact assessment to the private partner.
