PLMJ maintains its policy growth with the appointment of 4 new Partners, 8 new Senior Associates and 1 new International Senior Associate at GLA

PLMJ has appointed four new partners, nine new senior associates and a new international senior associate. These appointments continue PLMJ’s core policy of organic growth and recognition of the technical and human skills and professional merit of its lawyers.

On the basis of the excellence of the work done by these lawyers and their daily contribution to PLMJ’s competitiveness and reputation, the firm has promoted four new partners (Nuno Ferreira Morgado from the employment practice; Rui Alves Pereira from the litigation practice; Duarte Schmidt Lino from the banking and finance and capital markets practice and Maria da Conceição Cabaços, also from the banking and finance practice).

These new partners join PLMJ’s existing group of 43 partners. The firm has also promoted 10 new senior associates (Joana Lança from the tax practice; Miguel Marques de Carvalho from the EU and competition practice; Pedro Barosa, Nuno Miguel Lourenço and Carla Góis Coelho, all from the litigation practice; Marisa Larguinho from the banking and finance practice; Marco Ramalheiro from the employment practice; Andreia Candeias Mousinho from the public law practice and João Bravo da Costa from the corporate practice of the Angola Desk. The new senior associates join PLMJ’s existing 52 senior associates from a team of 205 lawyers at the firm’s offices in Lisbon, Oporto and Faro, all of whom work on a daily basis to find effective and innovative solutions to exceed their clients’ expectations. In addition to the appointments in Portugal, Renata Valenti of Gabinete Legal Angola, a member of PLMJ International Legal Network, was also promoted to international senior associate within the network’s international career structure.
