António Pedro Pinto Monteiro, a senior associate from PLMJ Arbitration, has written an article entitled “Publicity vs. confidentiality in transnational sports arbitration" for the civil law magazine, Revista de Direito Civil. The article’s co-author is Artur Flamínio da Silva.
In the article, the authors point out that "the conflict between publicity and confidentiality in transnational sports arbitration is a problem that has been subject to widespread discussion over recent years. Fundamentally, it reflects a broader problem which is that of the (apparent) difficulties in terms of compatibility between the law and an equitable process like arbitration".
