Paulo Abreu Santos strengthens PLMJs restructuring and financial litigation team

PLMJ has recently strengthened its litigation team with the arrival yet another lawyer, Paulo Abreu Santos, a graduate of the law faculty of the University of Lisbon and member of the Portuguese Institute of Civil Procedure.

The hiring of a new associate for the team follows increased demand by companies for legal support in litigation cases, particularly in the areas of financial litigation and restructuring and insolvency. PLMJ's litigation team, headed by partner Nuno Líbano Monteiro, has 9 partners among a total of 37 lawyers, working in Lisbon, Oporto and Faro and it is the largest litigation team in Portugal.
