The future law on renting will allow property owners to terminate tenancy agreements if they want to make structural improvements to their buildings. Pedro Sáragga Leal, a PLMJ partner from the real estate practice area, commented on the new rules on rental property that are set out in the Troika memorandum and he believes that these changes may prove to be an incentive to urban rehabilitation
