Partner and head of the German Desk.
About Vasco
Vasco is the partner who heads the German Desk and has more than 20 years' experience.
He advises on significant transactions and provides ongoing legal support to clients across a wide range of sectors. He has particular experience advising clients from German-speaking countries.
Vasco focuses principally on corporate law, mergers and acquisitions, and real estate. He also handles various types of litigation, mainly for clients from Germany, Switzerland and Austria.
He sits on the boards of the main associations linked to those German-speaking countries, particularly the Portuguese-German and Portuguese-Swiss Chambers of Commerce. He also serves on the boards of several trade associations from Germany, Switzerland and Austria and has acted for the Austrian Embassy for nearly 20 years.
The German Desk is unique in the Portuguese legal market, consisting of a team of bilingual Portuguese-German lawyers based at PLMJ's offices in Porto, Lisbon and Faro.
