PLMJ advises Ferro Corporation

PLMJ provided legal advice to Ferro Corporation in the acquisition of Quimicer Group, which operates in the field of research, production and marketing of frits, glazes and colours for the ceramics industry. PLMJ also assisted Ferro in the subsequent restructuring of Ferro Group in Portugal. The process culminated this month with the merger of Quimicer Portugal S.A. and Ferro – Industrias Químicas (Portugal), Lda.

The acquisition of Quimicer had a total value of approximately €27.8 million. With its headquarters in Mayfield Heights (Ohio, USA), Ferro Corporation has approximately 5300 employees across the world, and in 2017, invoiced around US$1.4 bn.
