PLMJ associate Inês de Castro Ruivo becomes Certified Information Privacy Professional

Inês de Castro Ruivo, an associate from PLMJ TMT – Telecommunications, Media and Technology, is now a Certified Information Privacy Professional. This is the most prestigious certification in the area of personal data and privacy, and it is awarded by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). Inês joins a very small group of lawyers who hold this certification in Portugal.

The IAPP is the world’s leading organisation in this area and was the first to establish professional education standards and tests of knowledge in privacy and data protection law. Certification is awarded to lawyers for their knowledge of European and domestic laws on data protection and their practical application.
